About the Hackathon

The 2025 MDC North Women’s Tech Pioneers Hackathon is an empowering, innovation-driven event designed to inspire women in technology. Hosted at Miami Dade College – North Campus, this hackathon fosters creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving in the tech industry. Participants will have the opportunity to build impactful projects, network with industry professionals, and gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies.

Event Schedule

9:00 – 9:30 AM | Check-in 


  • Participants arrive and check in.

9:30 AM – 10:00 AM | Opening Session


  • Welcome and overview of the day's agenda.

  • Ice-breaker activities, team registrations, and challenge selections.

10:00 AM – 11:30 AM | Workshops


  • Hands-on sessions to introduce key technologies and tools.

12:00 PM – 3:00 PM | Team Project Development


  • Teams collaborate to create innovative solutions.

  • Focus on Innovation, Technical Implementation, and Impact for their final presentations.

 3:00 – 4:00 PM | Presentations & Awards


  • Winners announced and prizes awarded.

  • Recognition of all participants and mentors.
