Data scientists, software engineers, developers, designers, problem-solvers, storytellers, and others passionate about the health of the Chesapeake Bay! Women in Data Science and Booz Allen Hamilton invite you to participate in Hack the Bay 2020. At this event, you'll be challenged to create innovative projects that can help the Chesapeake Monitoring Cooperative communicate, monitor, and improve the health of the Bay. Come with a team of 4-5 people, or join one at the event. You'll be asked to select one of the following challenges
Challenge 1: Developing a Restoration Case Study
Challenge 2: Identifying Data Gaps
Challenge 3: Modeling the Flow of Water Pollution
Challenge 4: Designing a Water Quality Report Card
You may brainstorm your project idea before the event, but coding or development work can only begin once the event officially kicks-off. Then you can collaborate and compete for recognition and prizes.
