I'm one of the organizers behind MCP to the Moon, a community focused on helping developers build and share MCP applications. We've been running community challenges, and today we're launching Challenge #2.
This challenge is organized by MCP to the Moon in collaboration with Moonpack, and we're excited to see what the community builds.
The Challenge
Build an MCP application using Moonpack - Moonpack is a toolkit that makes it easy to build, package, and share MCP applications.
Requirements
1. Build your MCP application using Moonpack (required)
2. Publish your project in a public GitHub repository
3. Submit your GitHub repository through our Discord
4. Include a README explaining your project and how to run it
5. (Optional) Record a short demo video showcasing your application
Timeline
Starts: July 8, 2026
Ends: July 18, 2026
Prizes
🥇 1st Place: $100
🥈 2nd Place: $50
🥉 3rd Place: $20
Judging Criteria
We'll evaluate submissions based on:
1. Originality
2. Usefulness
3. Implementation quality
4. Documentation
5. Completion of the challenge requirements
