The Young Youth Innovators Summer 2023 hackathon is a challenge for young innovators to use their skills and creativity to come up with solutions that address pressing issues facing our world. The hackathon is centered around four categories: sustainability, education, health and wellness, and social justice. Participants will be encouraged to think outside the box and develop innovative ideas that can make a positive impact in their communities and beyond.
The challenge will provide participants with an opportunity to develop valuable skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication, while also gaining experience in using technology to address real-world problems. Participants will be supported by mentors and industry experts who will provide guidance and feedback throughout the hackathon.
To participate in the Young Youth Innovators Hackathon Summer 2023, interested participants should first register for the event through Devpost. After registration, participants should read the challenge categories and submission requirements.
We highly recommend that participants begin by brainstorming ideas for their projects and researching potential solutions to the challenges in their chosen category. Participants are also encouraged to form teams and collaborate with others to develop their ideas.
Throughout the hackathon, participants will have access to webinars and workshops hosted by industry experts, providing insights into how to develop effective solutions. Additionally, participants can connect with mentors who will provide guidance and feedback throughout the hackathon.
Participants can submit their projects on Devpost and should include a short video demo of their solution, a written description, and any relevant code or documentation. The submission should also include a brief overview of the team and their respective roles in the project.
