Hackers in and around Rotterdam! The Het Nieuwe Instituut invites you to participate in Thursday Night Live! Bot Club: Decolonising Bots. You'll hear presentations about how bots and other algorithmic agents are skewed towards Caucasians. Following the programme, you can participate in a hackathon on how to conceive bots or algorithmic agents that can identify non-white faces as readily as white faces.
