Think you’ve got the experience, logic, and strategy for a game of poker? 🧠 Or curious about how to build a poker-playing bot? 🎲Introducing our brand NEW hackathon: PokerHack ♠️ ♥️ ♣️ ♦️Across one exciting weekend, you’ll compete in teams of 1-4 to build a bot using a provided Python repository that simulates a poker player. 🧑‍💻 Use logic, strategy, probability, and even machine learning to level up your bot’s game. 🤖 On Day 3, your team's bot will enter a round-robin tournament where winners 🏆 will be crowned and cash prizes awarded will be awarded to the top 3 teams! 💸Whether you're a beginner curious about how coding can be applied to gameplay, or a seasoned coder ready to compete at the top of the poker bot tournament - come along and join the fun! 🎯Opening Ceremony 🕠 Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm, Friday 2nd May📍 Location: Medley Theatre, Redmond Barry L1Closing Ceremony 🕠 Time: 1pm - 3:30pm, Sunday 4th May📍 Location: Forum Theatre, Arts West Building L1Can’t make the opening or closing ceremonies in person?
