Since its inception in 2012, , a part of NASA’s Earth Science Division, has become the , engaging thousands of citizens each year across the globe in a global hackathon to work with NASA in building innovative solutions for challenges we face on Earth and in space using open source data .
The pre-hackathon would be a regional round at Delhi for the final hackathon.
The pre-hackathon embraces collaborative problem solving with a goal of producing relevant open-source solutions to advance space exploration missions and improve life on Earth. It is open to anyone who has a passion for making a difference and is focused on developing real solutions to global challenges.
At the pre-qualifier of the hackathon at Galgotias University, participants from all over Delhi would compete each other for 24 hrs in teams of 2-4 member to qualify for the global round in October.
