MariHacks is Montreal’s first and largest annual 2-day hackathon for CEGEP and high school students, hosted at Marianopolis College. We bring together over 200 young developers and technology enthusiasts to create revolutionary software projects in just 24 hours! Meet fellow hackers, learn new technologies, and hone your skills alongside amazing mentors.
Whether you're coding your first-ever app or have lots of experience, join us for an amazing day of hacking! We thrive to foster an encouraging, beginner-friendly learning environment and to introduce new programmers to the field of software development.
The 7th edition of MariHacks, MariHacks 7.0, will be held from Friday, April 5th, 17:00 to Saturday, April 6th, 17:00.
Participation in MariHacks 7.0 is limited to registered and accepted CEGEP, high school, and U0 students.
All project submissions must include the corresponding code hosted on GitHub, Gitlab, Bitbucket, or any other suitable code hosting platform. Google Drive folder links will be accepted. Demo videos are optional.
MariHacks 7.0 will recognize the top 3 teams in both the advanced and beginner categories, with prizes awarded accordingly. One winning team will be selected for the NBC track, as well as for each challenge in the general track.
General track projects will be evaluated based on their originality, technical difficulty, usefulness, polish, and wow factor (impressiveness). The judges will score each project according to these criteria to select the winners.
Specific challenges, including the NBC track, have additional criteria that are determined by the judges for those categories.
