Joining the hackathon on Devpost means nothing unless you are registered to the event through the official Fillout registration form:  https://forms.fillout.com/t/2Vv1Hf3QeCus About the challenge MakerHacks II is happening on October 18-19th in downtown San Francisco. It is the US's only pre-collegiate robotics hackathon, and the first overnight hackathon in the Bay Area for the 2025-26 hacking season.  It's fully hardware centered and high-schooler/middle schooler only. For the second time, we'll be releasing a robotics game & field for one of the tracks (similar to FIRST/VEX) where hackers will design and rapidly iterate remote controlled/autonomous robots to solve this engineering design challenge.   There will be:
world-class workshops on mechanical design, programming, and integration
a 3D print farm and industrial laser cutter for rapid iteration & prototyping
large assortment of components (microcontrollers, servos, sensors)
plenty of qualified mentors + curriculum to guide the engineering design process
prizes consisting of 3D printers, hardware kits, gaming gear, & cash.
