Innovasia 2022

Innovasia is a 24-Hour National level Hackathon organized by Vasavi College of Engineering. 

The hackathon has 2 rounds. All the participants will have to submit the idea by 24th November 2022 by 6:00 PM IST. Based on the ideas submitted,  top teams will be selected and will be invited to Vasavi College of Engineering for Round 2. The second round will commence on 2nd December 2022 at 7:00 AM IST for all the shortlisted teams in online mode followed by an offline mode hackathon on 3rd December 2022 from 7:00 AM IST. Lunch and snacks for all the shortlisted teams will be provided at the Venue on 3rd December 2022. This hackathon focuses on the top 3 pressing problems of our nation.

• 
  Education: Come up with Smart assessment systems to evaluate students and identify the learning gaps well. The traditional evaluation systems fail to cater to the growing nuances and cannot give a complete understanding of the student and their learning abilities. The participants should come up with adaptive tests and smart assessment systems designed to understand the level of learning and retention of the students and are personalized to the student's grasping capabilities. Ultimately the goal of the solution should be to help both teacher and student in their learning journey.


• 
  Health: Come up with innovative applications to make subsidized healthcare transparent and efficient. The government started many initiatives to subsidize health care and medication to make them affordable and accessible to marginalized communities. But, the target audience for the subsidies is either not very tech-savvy or is not very educated to realize the importance of documentation.


• 
  AgriTech - Come up with innovative solutions to impact the agriculture industry by leveraging any applicable technologies. Agriculture is the backbone of any growing economy and so is India. But, there is so much innovation that can be done in every process of the supply chain. We expect the participants to come up with innovative solutions that leverage various technologies and optimize agriculture.

Round 1 Registration Details

• The participants must submit the idea presentation and the optional video.


• The submission window will be open from 16 Nov 2022 to 24th Nov 2022. 


• The teams must follow the PPT template given to them for PPT submission. The PPT template can be found in the link.


• The teams must register through the link.

Round 2 Registration Details

• The qualified teams must register for round 2 from 25th Nov 2022 to 27th Nov 2022 by paying a registration amount of Rs. 400/- per team.


• The teams that fail to pay the registration fee for round 2 will be disqualified from the hackathon.

Round 2 Submission Guidelines

• Round 2 of the hackathon will be conducted in two phases
  
  
  
  • Phase 1 of the hackathon starts on 2nd December 2022 at 7:00 AM IST. The hackathon will be conducted in Online Mode.
  
  
  • Each team will be assigned a mentor to help them clear their doubts.
  
  
  
  


• Phase 2 of the hackathon will be conducted on 3rd December 2022 at 7:00 AM IST. 
  
  
  
  • Phase 2 of the hackathon will be conducted at the Vasavi College of Engineering campus in offline mode.
  
  
  • The submission of round 2 will be concluded by 6:00 PM IST on 3rd December 2022 followed by prize distribution.
  
  
  
  


• Non-locals can participate in Phase 2 of the hackathon online on request.
