Hacktivism is a hackathon for all students above the age of 13 with a focus on creating technological solutions for social good. Over the course of the event, participants will work in teams of 1-3 people to tackle real-world challenges, develop innovative projects, and learn from experienced mentors. We will have guest speakers educating participants throughout each section of the hackathon process, including ideation, development, and presentation. Hacktivism is a chance for students to use their coding and problem-solving skills to make a positive impact on their communities and beyond. We encourage participants from all backgrounds and skill levels to participate, and no technical experience is required! Hacktivism will allow participants to gain experience and skills while making an impactful difference in their communities.
