Hack Your Path 4.0 Hack your path is an annual hackathon event which takes place in Hyderabad Institute of Technology And Management. THEMES: 1. LIBRARY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM Library management system for students and library management team in HITAM
Student sees list of books in the app and should be having an option to borrow a book
Library management team should update the number of stock available for a book in the library
Once the student has exceeded the time period for a particular book he would be penalised and report should be sent to library management team
2. WATER DISTRIBUTION MONITORING IN RESERVOIRS
Develop a mechanism to monitor water distribution from various reservoirs in multiple cities
The mechanism should clearly depict the volume of water each city got from the particular reservoir
3. HEALTH TECHNOLOGY IN RURAL AREAS Some patients live in rural areas or small parts of town.It may take a considerable amount of time for these patients to receive medical treatment, especially in emergency cases Techies can create a system specifically for those in rural areas. Whether this includes more specialized telehealth options or a system where those in rural areas can better access emergency care, this type of technology gives small town people the medical attention they need. 4. PEDESTRIAN SAFETY(IOT) Develop a working prototype that helps passenger vehicles to reduce the speed of the car or bring the car to a halt upon detecting pedestrians. Using infrared, proximity and motion sensors, the solution should make vehicles safer for pedestrians The prototype can also use AI and GPS to reduce the speed based on the location of the vehicle. For instance, the speed can be reduced if the vehicle is in a locality where there are only schools or hospitals 5. DIGILOCKER FOR HITAM A web application/mobile application using which students can download the softcopies of the important certificates which includes memos, pc, tc, course completion certificate, etc.
The student must enter his roll number and select the type of certificate he want to download
Upon selecting the admin should get a trigger saying the student has requested for particular document
Admin will then check either the student has any fee dues if the particular student don't have any dues then the soft copy of the particular certificate will be generated. The student can then download the soft copy
6. Cloud based model for the analysis and sharing health information of patients Develop a Cloud based solution for the analysis and sharing health information of patients across various hospital and provide good health opportunities to the patients. 7. SMART HITAM Unintentionally booking the same room/classroom at the same time as two or more faculty members will make things difficult. Therefore, a dynamic timetable application that is available to all facilities can be created to prevent these kinds of situations. Faculty name, room number, booking time, and date should all be included. When a room is reserved by one faculty, it shouldn't be used by another faculty during that period. 8.
