Hack Reason

On the occasion of the  World Logic Day  in January,  the AI Society and Professor Gopal Gupta’s ALPS Lab will be organizing the 4th HackReason Hackathon. The HackReason hacakathon will be held on January 16th and 17th. HackReason is focused on promoting logic-based AI and automated reasoning, specifically, automated commonsense reasoning using UT Dallas’ home-grown s(CASP) logic programming system. The idea is to build AI applications using the s(CASP) logic programming system in a 24-hour period. The application you build will employ automated reasoning. You can see the details of 3rd HackReason (held in January 2022)  here  and the projects that were done by various teams  here . No knowledge of AI or logic is needed. However, knowing how to program in some language (Java, C++, Python, etc.) and proficiency in programming will be helpful.
