GTPN-NA hackathon is the first hackathon organized by Tibetans for the Tibetan community in the NA Region. The aim of the hackathon is to create a community of Tibetan hackers who can collaborate and initiate exciting projects to contribute to the Tibetan community.
In the last 70 years of occupation, the Tibetan exile community has been heavily dependent on the outside community for monetary and policy support. However, with the help of the older Tibetan generation, the current Tibetan generation has reached an education threshold where we can be the true leaders of our own movement. There are several Tibetans excelling in the fields of Technology, Health, Finance, Environment, and much more. This hackathon is a call for action.
The hackathon will be an opportunity to bring together Tibetans from varied fields for a weekend and rack their brains to produce exciting solutions/products catering to the Tibetan community.
