GSMA EQUALS EU Hackathon – Bridging the Financial Literacy Gap

Hackers, coders, designers, and other fintech types! Do you want to empower women and girls to be digitally and financially literate? Interested in being part of a global six-month virtual business development incubation programme and more? GSMA invites you to apply to participate in the GSMA EQUALS EU Hackathon.

Please note: Preference will be given to female applicants and those who identify as representatives of vulnerable and minority groups.

As part of a hackathon team, participants will be challenged to design and develop an open-source tool, platform, or app which enhances financial and digital literacy for women in particular. For example, your project might address the lack of both digital and financial literacy amongst women users and non-users of mobile financial services, particularly mobile money.
