Every monsoon season, Pakistan faces devastating floods that cause massive loss of lives, displacement of communities, and destruction of infrastructure. Despite repeated disasters, gaps remain in how we prepare, respond, and recover from such emergencies. FloodHackathon is a call to action for innovators, technologists, entrepreneurs, students, and change-makers to come together and design practical, scalable, and impactful solutions. The focus will be on three key stages of disaster management:
Readiness – Early detection and forecasting systems, community awareness tools, and disaster preparedness technologies.
Response – Smart systems for relief item distribution, real-time communication platforms, rescue coordination, and resource mobilization.
Recovery – Solutions for rebuilding livelihoods, restoring education and healthcare access, mental health support, and creating flood-resilient infrastructure.
This hackathon will bring together experts, mentors, and innovators to co-create solutions that can strengthen Pakistan’s resilience against floods and set an example for disaster innovation worldwide. Join us in turning challenges into opportunities — because the next flood is not a question of if, but when.
