Welcome to the Code Crunch Hack - Tropical Spring 2025!

This virtual hackathon is designed to ignite creativity and innovation, with a focus on DevOps, Web Development, AI, Data Science, and Beginner-Friendly projects. Over the course of the event, participants will collaborate, learn, and build groundbreaking solutions in a tropical-themed environment.

Event Schedule

Day 1: Kickoff (Monday, March 24, 2025)



  • Opening Ceremony and Team Formation: Time TBD




  • Keynote Speech by Industry Experts: Time TBD




  • Introduction to DevOps Tools and Resources: Time TBD



Workshops:



  • C5 | Crunch AI Data Science: 1 PM - 2 PM





    • Learn AI and data science fundamentals.




    •  Project Example: "AI Sentiment Classifier" using TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, and Pandas.





  • C3 | Crunch Labs: Portfolio: 2 PM - 3 PM





    • Develop Java projects and gain expertise in React workflows for professional portfolios.




    •  Project Example: "Task Management App" using React and Firebase.




 

Day 2: Workshops and Preparation (Tuesday, March 25, 2025)

Workshops:



  • C7 | Wire Crunch: Embedded Systems: 1 PM - 2 PM





    • Explore C++ programming for microcontrollers, RTOS, and embedded systems.




    • Project Example: "Smart Home Controller" using Arduino and sensors.




Day 3: Workshops and Preparation (Wednesday, March 26, 2025)

Workshops:



  • C5 | Crunch AI Data Science: 1 PM - 2 PM





    • Learn AI and data science fundamentals.





  • C1 | Code Crunch Convos: 2 PM - 3 PM





    • Dive deeper into data structures and Python programming.




    •  Project Example: "Sorting Algorithm Visualizer" using Python and Matplotlib.




Day 4: Workshops and Preparation (Thursday, March 27, 2025)

Workshops:



  • C6 | Cybersecurity Crunch: 1 PM - 2 PM





    • Explore VM/Linux tools and cybersecurity principles.




    •  Project Example: "Network Packet Analyzer" using Wireshark and Linux tools.





  • C8 | Crunch Labs: Web Development: 3 PM - 4 PM





    • Learn modern web development tools like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.




    • Project Example: "Personal Portfolio Website" using React and Material-UI.




Day 5: Hackathon Begins (Saturday, March 29, 2025)



  • Workshops on CI/CD Pipelines, Kubernetes, and Web App Development: Time TBD




  • Hacking Starts: Teams collaborate and build their projects.




  • Mentorship Sessions: Time TBD



Day 6: Hackathon Continues (Sunday, March 30, 2025)



  • Hacking Continues: Teams finalize their projects and prepare for submission.




  • Last Mentorship Session: Time TBD



Day 7: Final Submissions (Monday, March 31, 2025)



  • Project Demos and Judging: Time TBD




  • Closing Ceremony and Awards: Time TBD
