big datanon-profit
Location: Columbia

Solve a data challenge for charity, win great prizes and do your contribution for a better world! This is a unique event where you can use data to solve challenges identified by the charities and a great chance to get mentored by senior leaders in Google, Barclays, University of Cambridge etc. You will be set four challenges to choose from, each related to a charity: Multiple Sclerosis Society, Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation, Impetus-PEF, and World Migration Data by United Nations. You can take as many challenges you like and will be provided with data sets to do so. Each day there will be an optional hour of mentoring with charity leaders and industry experts to support you in building your solutions and you’ll have an option to work from sites at Barclays (Canary Wharf) and Digital Catapult NETV in Sunderland.
