Call for Code for Natural Disaster Preparedness

Hackers in the North East! If you're concerned about the world's preparedness for natural disasters, then you should sign up to participate in the Call for Code for Natural Disaster Preparedness. In collaboration with IBM, the Cornell Civil and Environmental Engineering Department is hosting a 2-day hackathon to tackle challenges associated with natural disasters. You'll be asked to design and prototype a solution that uses IBM Cloud services to address one of the following challenge areas:

→ Sustainability
→ Energy Systems
→ Cyber-physical
→ Water Security
→ Mechanics of the Built Environment

Come and collaborate and compete to win cash prizes, as well as an invitation to the Call for Code Global Prize Event, plus introductions to venture capitalists and long-term project support from The Linux Foundation.
